Floatant Bottle Retractor

The spring-loaded reel retractor for the floatant bottle is equipped with a black "O" ring.

To attach the floatant bottle to the reel retractor:

1. Remove the floatant cap
2. Plant the "O" ring over the bottle neck
3. Replace the cap

Tippet Dispenser

When not extracting the tippet material, insert the dispenser in the vest cavity with the loose tippet ends facing down. This will keep the loose tippet ends out of harms way and prevent accidental extraction.

If you are using four tippet spools, place two spools back to back over each post with the smooth side of the bottom spool facing down and the smooth side of the top spool facing up. This will prevent the tippet from becoming entangled with the adjoining spools.

The tippet spools should have a slight interference fit with the tippet post. This can be accomplished by wrapping masking or scotch tape around the tippet post to increase its diameter and provide an interference fit.
