Fly Fishing Vest Options

TechVest Basic

The following equipment is included with the basic chest vest / backpack:

• 1 TechVest
• 1 tool box
• 1 rod holder
• 1 auxiliary stuff bag
• 1 removable fleece-lined handwarmer
• 1 tippet dispenser
• 2 split shot dispensers with factory-installed spring-loaded reel retractors
• 4 additional spring-loaded reel retractors for selected tools
• 2 magnetic fly holders attached by velcro
  (flies not included)

The tippet dispenser will hold up to four tippet spools depending on spool size (similar to Scientific Angler):

• Minimum hole diameter is 3/8"; Maximum spool diameter is 2 3/8"
• Maximum spool thickness is 3/8"
• If two spools are used, the maximum thickness of each spool is 3/4"

The two split shot dispensers are complete with factory installed spring-loaded reel retractors. To remove a lead split shot, just twist the cap until the slot in the cap and body line up.

The four retractors are complete with a custom end connection to fit the recommended tools (floatant, scissor clamp, knot tying tool, and nippers). Extended reel length is 24".

The magnet fly holders are extremely strong neodymium nickel plated. They are ½" x ¾" and attached by factory-installed velcro.

Recommended Tools

TechVest has been designed to accommodate the following fly fishing equipment which is compatible with the toolbox and cloth vest.

	Gink Floatant 1" diameter plastic dispenser common to most floatants on the market.
	Dr. Slick Scissor Clamp Can be used as scissors, pliers, and a hemostat.
	Lake Products Knot-tying Tool Simplifies knot-tying especially in the winter when your fingers are numb! Works well with clinch knots and nail knots.
	TIE-FAST Line Clippers These clippers Come complete with a fish hook eye cleaner.
	Flambeau Large Pocket Fly Box TechVest designed the two large pockets to specifically accommodate this 6 ½" x 4 ¾" by 1 ¼" box. It has double compartments with ripple foam on one side and a segmented tray on the other side.
	Alternate Flambeau Large Pocket Fly Box This box measures 6" x 4" x 1". It has ripple foam on one side and flat foam on the other.
	Flambeau Small Pocket Fly Box TechVest designed the two small pockets on the front side of the vest to accommodate this 4" x 3" x 1" box. It has ripple foam on one side and flat foam on the other.
